Man & Machine sues Apple over Mighty Mouse
Man & Machine has revealed that they have now sued both Apple and CBS for trademark infringement over the Mighty Mouse product sold by the Mac maker.
Apple has been selling the Mighty Mouse product since quite some time. M&M claims that they started using the name for their own products before Apple launched the mouse.
Man & Machine, based in Landover, Maryland said in a statement: “Because of Apple’s size, fame and large advertising budget, Apple’s use of the Mighty Mouse trademark has and will continue to overwhelm M&M’s use”.
CBS also is involved in this lawsuit as they own the trademark for the animated superhero named Mighty Mouse. Man & Machine is demanding monetary damages in addition to courts order to stop Apple from selling any product by this name.
