Micro-Star International to showcase Wind laptop in US next month
MSI has announced that they would start selling their much talked about Wind laptop in USA next month.
This Intel Atom processor powered low cost machine would retail for $549 for the Windows XP version.
It would come loaded with a 1.6GHz Atom microprocessor and would have a power backup of around 6 hours.
Instead of using a Flash media based storage; they would be equipping this machine with an 80GB hard disk.
The company also plans to sell a Linux edition of this notebook powered with SUSE Linux OS for USD 399.
However, MSI has somewhat crippled this Linux edition by removing Bluetooth. It would also have smaller backup and less RAM.
