Google’s market share touches 61.6% in April in USA
Google continues to enhance their search engine market share in the US market.
For the month of April, Google had a market share of 61.6%. This is up from 59.8% in the month of March.
The losers were Yahoo and Microsoft whose market share was at 20.4% and 9.1% respectively.
This means that even if Microsoft manages to acquire Yahoo’s search business, the combined market share would remain half of what Google has.
Google has been the dominating search engine service provider since a long time and they remain the favorite as they keep enhancing the quality of their tools.
