Desktop version of EEE PC named EBox
Asus has revealed that they are naming the desktop edition of the EEE PC as EBox.
Asus EBox would come powered with the same Eee’s Linux OS.
It looks pretty similar to the Nintendo Wii gaming console and is quite small and portable.
It would be sold in both white and black color. The device would feature 2GB RAM and 160GB hard disk.
Market sources say that the machine would come powered with an Intel Atom processor which is designed for portable devices.
It is expected to be priced at around USD 300.
Things are getting really amazing these days. You can buy a complete machine in the same price charged by Microsoft for its operating system!
