Asustek Eee Monitor to take on Apple iMac

Asustek has revealed that they are working on launching a product to take on the Apple iMac.

Asustek Eee Monitor would feature a complete PC inside a monitor and it would join their Eee family of products.

The company is also scheduled to launch two new Eee PCs at Computex Taipei 2008 this week.

Asustek added that they have more plans to keep the range updated and fresh with new innovative products.

They are already working on an EEE Box which is similar to the Apple Mac Mini. It would be powered by an Intel Atom microprocessor and will come in a range of configurations.

Asustek Eee Stick is another product under development which would provide Nintendo Wii like gaming functionality on the PCs.
