Google Custom Search Business Edition is now Google Site Search
Search engine giant Google has announced that they are now rebranding Custom Search Business Edition as Google Site Search.
They have also added a bunch of new features to make it more attractive to the potential customers.
The company said that the new edition comes loaded with these new main features.
Customers would be able to set the sections of the site which they want get better rank on search pages.
They would be able to provide data about the internal pages on the website to Google to ensure deep indexing of content.
Customers would also be able to provide a list of keyword synonyms which would be treated as same on search result pages.
Customers would also be able to set up the engine to ensure that newer data gets preference over older data. However the engine would not be providing data based searching yet. This feature could arrive rather soon!
Google however clarified that the deeply indexed date from their customers would not be merged into their main search database.
