Clarion showcases mobile Internet navigator device
Clarion is popular for their car audio systems and navigation devices.
The company is now venturing into yet another segment of the market by launching handheld mobile Internet navigator devices.
Clarion showcased a prototype of this upcoming device which is expected to go on sale later this year.
It was displayed at the Hitachi booth at the ongoing Computex trade show in Taipei.
The company said that the device is powered with the Intel’s Centrino Atom platform and would feature a 4.8-inch screen. It would be powered by Linux operating system and would support Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
They are also planning to launch a 3G enabled edition in the future.
