Oklahoma City launches wireless network

The Oklahoma City has announced that they are now launching their own wireless network which they claim is the largest of its kind in the world.

This network is owned by the city itself and is worth around USD 5 million.

It covers 555-square-mile of area though it is not for public consumption.

It is designed for the public safety and other city workers.

City officials said that they funded this network with money from a public safety sales tax and city capital improvement funds.
