SpiralFrog to offer downloads from EMI
SpiralFrog has announced that they are soon going to offer content from EMI Music.
This would give them access to popular musicians including Coldplay, Keith Urban and others.
They already have a similar deal with Universal Music Group.
Joe Mohen, SpiralFrog’s chairman and founder spoke about these new developments: “You’re going to see that users on our site are going to see a lot more content, so there’s going to be far fewer searches where they won’t find music they’re looking for.”
This web service provides access to the music for free legally as they generate revenues through advertising. The content is compatible with Microsoft technology enabled devices.
The company is now seeking similar deals with Warner Music Group Corp. and Sony BMG Music Entertainment.
