Yahoo to sell advertising on Wal-Mart and CBS sites

Yahoo is under intense pressure from billionaire investor Carl Icahn who wants to replace the company board and signup a deal with Microsoft.

The company has been rather aggressive in signing up new deals to improve their financial position to avoid the confrontation with Icahn.

Yahoo has now announced that they have signed up deals with Wal-Mart and CBS to sell advertising for them online.

They have now the exclusive rights to offer display and video advertising on Wal-Mart websites.

The company also announced that they would be working with advertising holding company Havas on their AMP platform.
