Yahoo announces more partners in their online ad consortium

Internet media giant Yahoo has revealed that they now have 94 more newspapers joining their online advertising consortium.

With this the company is now working with as many as 800 newspapers.

The latest deal includes high profile names including Chicago Sun-Times and others owned by Sun-Times News Group.

The group sells online advertising on the websites of these newspapers using Yahoo technology.

This is one of the major initiatives by Yahoo to compete with Google in this segment of the market.
