McAfee Mapping the Mal Web report released
Security software maker McAfee has released their Mapping the Mal Web report.
The report analysis and tells us the type of domain names which are riskiest to browse online.
McAfee said in this report that the most dangerous domain names are hosted at: “.hk” (Hong Kong), “.cn” (China) and “.info” (information).
Info domains are perhaps popular as they have been selling at huge discounts from domain registrars (99 cents a year!).
The report further claimed that more than 5 percent of the .com domains are dangerous for web browsers to visit.
The safest domains? “.gov” (government use), “.jp” (Japan), “.au” (Australia)
