Verizon Wireless providing RemoSync to customers
US based mobile service provider Verizon has announced that they are now providing a corporate e-mail application for simpler mobile devices.
Smartphones already have the capabilities to connect to corporate servers to send and receive emails.
The company is using RemoSync technology which is developed by Remoba.
This technology enables users of simpler mobile devices to manage e-mail, calendar, and contacts in real time on Microsoft Exchange Servers.
The technology works with several popular mobile devices including Samsung FlipShot, LG Venus and Voyager.
Andrea Caldini, executive director of product management and development for Verizon Wireless spoke about this new service launch: “The addition of RemoSync gives our business customers the added features of a business device on the phones they carry with them every day.”
Verizon is targeting this service at small business owners. It would be charged at $9.99 a month.
