Jaguar and Land Rover coming to India
Now that Tata has acquired the famous Jaguar and Land Rover brands, they are planning to bring them to the Indian market.
Tata Motors said in a statement: “Like Russia and China, Jaguar and Land Rover would be exploring the Indian market also. A team will be coming to India to study the market.”
The company did not say whether they would be importing these cars to India or manufacture them locally.
The volumes are going to be low so importing seems like the probable route for now.
Tata had also promised the company labor unions that production of these cars would not be moved to other countries.
