Microsoft plans to enhance Music capabilities in Windows Mobile

The upcoming rumored launch of the Apple iPhone has already got Microsoft thinking.

The company has stated that they are planning to concentrate on improving music playing capabilities in the future versions of Windows Mobile platform.

Apparently they are noticing the growing popularity of the Apple iPhone which is set to become an even more capable corporate mobile device.

Andy Lees, senior VP of Microsoft’s Mobile Business Communication said in a statement: “One thing that Apple has leveraged on is the music scenario, and I think that is something the operators and ourselves are partnering on, just to make sure that consumers can use live music in the best way.”

Looks like Microsoft is late against realizing the growing threats to their mobile business segment.
