Nokia N78 launched in Indian market
World’s largest mobile phone maker Nokia has announced the launch of their Nokia N78 model in the Indian market.
The phone comes loaded with a 3.2 mega pixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics. It has 70 MB onboard storage capacity.
It also features FM radio, MP3 player and GPS system. Nokia is selling the phone with maps of eight Indian cities.
Nokia N78 also support high-speed connectivity via WLAN, HSPDA 3.5G. It supports microSD cards up to 8GB.
Vineet Taneja, Head-GTM, Nokia India spoke about this new model: “We are looking at the next generation of Internet that has evolved towards social networking or Web 2.0 where people can participate and share their experiences through communities such as Facebook and Flickr.”
The phone has a location tagger feature which saves the location data to pictures taken by the device. This feature comes handy while uploading the images to online photo sharing sites like Flickr.
