Apple iPhone 3G announced: Coming next month
Most of the rumors turned out to be true after all. Apple has now announced the second generation iPhone that comes with 3G support.
Apple iPhone 3G would also have GPS capabilities. It has also been priced a lot more competitively.
The 8GB model would retail for USD 199 and the 16GB model would sell for USD 299.
Apple would start selling this new model in 22 countries and regions from July 11. The availability would be expanded by the end of the year in many more regions.
The new edition supports the Microsoft Exchange software making it a strong rival to Smartphones from Research in Motion and Palm.
