Canon EOS 1000D/Rebel XS announced
Canon has finally confirmed the much rumored EOS 1000D/Rebel XS D-SLR model.
The company said that this new model improves upon the previous generation model EOS Rebel XT.
It comes with a 2.5-inch CMOS LCD and shoots at 10.1 megapixels. It also has a Live View feature enabling the user to use a LCD screen to shoot.
The company has loaded this camera with a new Digic III processor with 12-bit processing. It also has a better battery life in addition to a seven-point autofocus system.
The LCD screen features a tab-based menu system and user gets direct control over external devices like flash units.
