Apple iPod Touch owners to pay USD 9.95 for latest software!
Apple has just launched the Apple iPhone 3G edition.
The company also showcased the new software for the phone named Apple iPhone 2.0.
This software update would be delivered for free to the owners of the Apple iPhone.
But the owners of Apple iPod Touch would be required to pay USD 9.95 for this same upgrade!
Very disappointing.
The latest update comes with tons of features. Some of them are:
1. Ability to check out Apple iWork and Office 2007 files.
2. An updated Calculator (Scientific included).
3. Parental Control.
4. Picture saving ability.
5. Messages can be moved to folder.
6. Messages can be deleted in groups.
7. Contacts can be searched.
8. Support for more languages.
9. Support for the Apple iPhone Apps and MobileMe.
10. Etc. Etc.
Still, why charge the customers of iPod touch! When you have not even launched any new generation iPod Touch!

I really start to dislike Apple. Of course, you can get the security update for free. But as soon as you connect your ipod touch you get this screen in front of you shouting BUY! And nowhere on that page can it be read that you can update for free if you only want to keep using your ipod in a save way.
I had a bad experience in the past with the itunes store. Why I needed to buy the ipod touch I don’t know anymore. But I disliked the whole lot that much I gave my ipod touch away. Don’t want to have anything to do with Apple stuff for a while.
