ATI Radeon HD 3870 for Mac and PC launched
AMD has announced the launch of their latest graphic card model.
The company has now launched ATI Radeon HD 3870 for Mac and PC.
This new card is compatible with PCI Express slots of both first-generation and second-generation Mac Pro systems.
It comes loaded with 512MB of 256-bit GDDR4 frame buffer memory and 320 stream processors.
The company claims that this card runs faster and costs less than the GeForce 8800 GT.
It is being offered at $279.
The card features two dual-link DVI interfaces. Each of these interfaces is capable of driving a 30-inch Apple Cinema HD display.
