Honda FCX Clarity production begins
Japanese automaker Honda has now started production of their FCX Clarity model.
FCX Clarity is the latest fuel-cell car from the company as they aim to become the market leader in this segment of the market.
This car is being manufactured at their production line in Tochigi near Tokyo.
The company said that this new production line is dedicated to manufacturing fuel-cell vehicles.
Honda would sell this car through a newly established fuel-cell vehicle dealership network in the United States from July.
Honda Chief Executive Takeo Fukui added: “Fuel-cell vehicles, which don’t use fossil fuels and don’t produce carbon dioxide, are necessary for the environment. We would like to make them more popular.”
