Flickr Sadness: Founders leave Yahoo
Flickr remains one of the most loved web services owned by Yahoo currently.
However, Flickr fans would be sad to know that the founders of the company Caterina Fake and Stewart Butterfield are both leaving the company.
They are joining the long list of senior executives at Yahoo who are moving out as the company struggles in the search and advertising market.
Kakul Srivastava would become the new general manager of Flickr.
Yahoo had acquired Flickr photo sharing service for $35 million in March of 2005.
