As per the latest market statistics, there are more .cn domains online than .net domains!

.cn domains represent China which is one of the biggest internet markets in the world.

VeriSign said in a statement that they believe that “.cn” overtook “.net” sometime in the first quarter of 2008.

The company added in its report that “.cn” registrations grew 23 percent from the previous quarter.

Another market source states that there are 11.8 million .cn registrations compared to 11.6 million for .net.

.com remains the most popular domain online followed by .de.
