Alibaba.com launches Alimama.com advertising service
Alibaba.com Inc has announced the launch of their latest web service named Alimama.com.
Alimama.com is their free online advertising service. The company did not reveal when they plan to start charging for this service.
A company representative said: “The goal for Alimama.com set by Ma is to acquire the largest share of online advertising in China within 3-5 years. The firm would post a revenue between three and five billion yuan within the next three to five years.”
Alimama.com has been in trial run since last couple of months and it already has about 400,000 registered websites.
