Apple iPhone in Japan for USD 215

Softbank has announced the pricing for the Apple iPhone for the Japanese market.

The company said that they would sell the much awaited Apple iPhone 3G in the market for USD 215.

This would be slightly above the price of the device in the US market where it would be offered by AT&T.

Softbank said that the higher end model (16GB) would be offered for USD 320.

Apple iPhone would not be able to match the feature set of other phones available in this competitive market but it does have the Apple charisma which is huge in this country.
