Lenovo ThinkPad SL series for SMBs
Personal computer maker Lenovo has confirmed that they are going to launch the SL series of their ThinkPad laptops which would be targeted at the small and medium-size businesses.
These laptops would be priced between USD 699 to 1,199 and would come bundled with online backup services and LoJack technology.
The LoJack technology is useful if the laptop is stolen or lost. It helps in tracking down the machines.
The company added that these machines would be targeted at companies with less than 100 employees who cannot afford to have an IT staff to manage the machines.
Lenovo added that these new machines will not come with the proprietary docking stations but would include a USB-based port replication system.
