Volvo has announced that they are now offering road traffic information system into their cars in the Indian market.
This is their version of the navigation system which is designed to provide data on traveling to predetermined destinations and through unfamiliar traffic environments.
This system is available at an additional cost of Rs 1.5 lakh. It is controllable from the steering wheel of the car itself.
Paul de Voijs, managing director, Volvo Car India spoke about this feature addition: “The RTI is an important infotainment unit in Volvo Cars globally and we are very happy to introduce it in India as well. The user friendly system will take the worry out of driving by helping customers navigate through unknown routes, everyday traffic disruptions or even finding their way to a tourist destination in a new city.
