Nokia aims to boost presence in Japan
Nokia might be the dominating player in the world’s mobile phone market but they are a minority player in Japan.
The company said that they are now going to boost the features on the devices they sell in this country.
Nokia said that they would now link a Local Area Network service to its X02NK handset which they sell through Softbank.
Nokia’s worries are apparent considering Apple is all set to enter this market with their iPhone.
Apple iPhone is increasingly becoming a pain for rival mobile phone maker. With just one product in its portfolio, Apple has already started dominating other Smartphone makers in several markets.
The Japanese mobile phone market is dominated by phones from Sharp, Matsushita Electric Industrial and NEC.
