MySpace releases APIs to connect to its social networking service
Social networking giant MySpace has announced the release of their APIs.
These APIs would enable third party developers to connect to the user account details on the service.
The company has also made available related documentation in addition to specifications and a video tutorial.
The company said that these APIs are part of their “data-availability initiative” which was launched earlier this year.
The aim is to enable other sites to access the user’s data available on the service (when approved by the user).
MySpace has taken enough steps to stop malicious services from accessing their services. As a result, they are not allowing other sites to cache or store user data.
