China Mobile nearing a deal with Apple on iPhone launch
Apple has been in talks with China Mobile over launching the iPhone in the Chinese market since quite some time.
However, things are far from being finalized.
China Mobile has now said that they have settled over some of the major issues with Apple and things are moving forward.
A company representative said: “Apple is no longer insisting on a revenue-sharing policy, so the biggest hurdle for China Mobile to bring in the iPhone has been cleared, but there are practical issues still to be resolved.”
Apple showcased the iPhone 3G earlier this month and is all set to launch it in more than 70 markets worldwide before the end of the year.
