Google set to make iGoogle a social experience
Google has started testing the updated iGoogle portal with social applications.
The new interface is being provided to random users of the service and there is no way to get access to it directly.
The new updated iGoogle would place the tabs on the left side of the screen. It would feature an updated chat module that would function like it does in Gmail.
The company has also added features similar to Facebook like updates from contacts and friends.
Gadgets get expanded functionality capability through canvas view.
