Microsoft’s Boston Concept Development Center established
Microsoft has announced the establishment of their Boston Concept Development Center.
This is the first of its kind set up which would be researching new technologies to enable the company to take on rivals like Google and Yahoo.
Boston is the hometown of Ray Ozzie who took over from Bill Gates as the Microsoft’s chief software architect in 2006.
Center’s director Reed Sturtevant said in a statement: “Microsoft is making a big investment in Massachusetts. There’s a huge amount of talent in Boston and the question is, how do you bring new talent into Microsoft?”
