Adobe to help Google and Yahoo to index Flash files on the web
Software Company Adobe has said that they are now going to work with Google and Yahoo to improve the indexing of content hidden in Flash files on the web.
This would improve the indexing of dynamic Web content and rich Internet applications as search engine spiders are generally unable to parse them.
Adobe said that they would be providing optimized Adobe Flash Player technology to reveal more information on content in these files.
David Wadhwani, general manager and vice president of the platform business unit at Adobe said in a statement: “Until now it has been extremely challenging to search the millions of RIAs and dynamic content on the Web, so we are leading the charge in improving search of content that runs in Adobe Flash Player.”
This would further enhance the usability of Adobe Flash on the web as people would no longer avoid using interactive elements which generally were ignored by search engine spiders.
