Apple MacBook Air with SSD now cheaper
Apple has lowered the price of their MacBook Air notebook model if it is ordered with a solid state drive.
Customers were earlier required to pay a $999 premium for the SSD Drive. This price is now down to $599.
Apple has also reduced the price of another upgrade… The processor upgrade from 1.6GHz to 1.8GHz is now costing $200 instead of $300.
SSD drives are very rare on notebooks though the market is expecting. This is going to further reduce the cost of these drives for the customers in the coming years.
