Carl Icahn: Microsoft still interested in Yahoo
Things are becoming clearer now on what strategy Microsoft is taking to bounce back with a bid for Yahoo.
Billionaire investor Carl Icahn has now stated that Microsoft is indeed interested in coming back with a bid for Yahoo.
He said that if Yahoo indeed replaces the company’s board with new people who are more open to a deal with Microsoft, the deal could still take place.
Icahn is one of the bigger shareholders in Yahoo and he has been demanding the exit of the current board which he claims made a mistake by not accepting the earlier bid from Microsoft.
