Kerala set to ban mobile phones in school
The Indian state of Kerala is all set to implement a ban on mobile devices in schools.
Kerala’s home minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said in a statement: “What we had till now is merely a government order stating that mobile phones can’t be used in schools. But now we will introduce new laws to this effect, banning the use of mobiles in all schools.”
This ban would also be applicable in higher secondary schools.
They decided to take these strict actions to control the nuisance created by kids using mobile devices in school premises.
