Flickr users gets a chance to sell images through Getty
Yahoo owned photo sharing service Flickr has announced that they are collaborating with Getty Images.
Flickr would now become one of the sources for photos. They would be able to contact selected Flickr users and ask them to become one of the providers.
Users would not be able to apply to Getty themselves. Getty gets to pick the photographers they want.
To become one of the suppliers, selected users would be required to sign a Getty Images contributor contract.
Yahoo is not going to get a cut in this deal between the user and Getty Images.
