Microsoft blocks and then unblocks TinyURL links on MSN Messenger
Microsoft has confirmed that their Windows Live Messenger service was unintentionally blocking links on TinyURL.com.
This means that the users on the service were unable to send each other links with tinyurl.com in it.
TinyURL is a very useful web service which shortens long URLs into smaller ones.
This prevents truncation of the links while sending them through emails or instant messages.
