Handango in a global deal with Sony Ericsson

Handango has announced that they have now signed a global deal with mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson.

The deal would enable the owners of Sony Ericsson Smartphones to get access to mobile Smartphone applications from Handango.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 would now feature an on-deck Handango-branded InHand client.

This client would give the owners of this device direct access to mobile applications.

Handango would also now become a content provider to the Sony Ericsson’s mobile Web store for UIQ phones.

Handango CEO Bill Stone said in a statement: “Before the original iPhone came out, many people thought of Smartphones as only capable of making calls and checking e-mails. It’s raised customer awareness of the powers that Smartphones have.”
