AOL launches WalletPop and Pixcetera sites
AOL continues to expand their network of specialized sites to generate new avenues for advertising revenues.
These two new outlets are: WalletPop and Pixcetera.
WalletPop and Pixcetera are hosted independent of AOL network and are targeted at specific online audiences.
WalletPop is designed to provide alerts on the latest deals and moneysaving tips. It also answer user questions related to saving money. AOL said that WalletPop is designed to address “the money matters of real people, such as debt management, finding the best deals, saving, retirement, insurance, mortgages, banking, taxes and more”.
Pixcetera is aimed at the photographers. It would collect the images and galleries spread across the AOL network and would provide information for photographers.
