Lionsgate expands available of its content on YouTube
Lionsgate has announced that they would make available more content on Google owned video sharing service YouTube.
The company said that this would enable the users to access long stretches of movies and TV shows on YouTube.
They would also be able to share these clips with other members online.
They would also be free to use the material to generate their own content.
Lionsgate is in a deal with Google over YouTube and they get a share of the advertising revenues generated through their content.
Curt Marvis, Lionsgate’s president of digital media added in a statement on this new development: “We are not drawing any kind of lines in the sand going forward about what we might do. One of the best ways to find out how to deal with this new age of digital distribution is to get in there and figure it out.”
