MySpace to join OpenID Alliance
MySpace Internet social networking service has announced that they are now joining the OpenID alliance.
This would enable web users to use their personal information on different websites without registering again and again.
This new development is result of an earlier commitment MySpace made to make it easier for their members to use their personal information on third-party sites.
Jim Benedetto, the network’s senior vice president of technology said in a statement: “All this will tie together to make it more useful for MySpace users to have MySpace accounts even when they’re not on MySpace. We hope you’ll be able to take your MySpace friends wherever you go.”
MySpace also announced that they are now supporting Flixster and Eventful for user information transportation services.
