Toyota could reduce their global sales target
Kyodo News has claimed in a report that the Japanese automaker is all set to lower their expected global sales target.
The company could lower their target by as much as 350,000 units.
This is primarily due to falling sales in the US market where the auto market is going through a lean patch.
Toyota could come out with their new targets by possibly next week.
The company has for now declined to comment on this rumor in the market.
The US market alone accounts for around 40 percent of Toyota’s worldwide profit. The slowdown in the US market has affected a lot of auto companies including the domestic giants like GM and Ford.
