AT&T has come out with their latest revenue report and the company seems to have gained massively from their exclusive deal to sell Apple iPhone.
The company has posted net income of US $3.8 billion for the second quarter. This is an improvement of 31 percent from the $2.9 billion compared to same period last year.
The adjusted net income for the company was also up from $4.3 billion to $4.5 billion.
The revenues were up at $30.9 billion. Randall Stephenson, AT&T chairman and CEO spoke about the company’s performance: “AT&T is all about deploying and enhancing premier networks and products to deliver this world to both business and consumers. The Apple iPhone 3G is a dramatic example of this transformation.”
Apple is in exclusive deal with AT&T to sell their iPhone device in the US market. The two companies recently introduced the second generation iPhone 3G which has been a sellout.
