Mahindra Renault could start exporting Logan
Mahindra Renault Logan has not been a success the companies had hoped it would be.
The recent launch of Maruti Swift DZiRE has also made it difficult for Renault to impress the customers with their low cost Logan sedan.
As a result, the two companies are now considering plans to start exporting this car to international markets from India.
Company Chief Operating Officer Nalin Mehta said in a statement: “May be next quarter itself we’ll talk about it. We are already doing some pilots in some countries.”
Car prices have been going high in the recent times due to increasing cost of auto fuel and other raw materials.
This has made it lucrative for the automakers to look at other markets for selling their cars.
