Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India to launch superbikes in India
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has announced that they would soon launch superbikes in India which are likely to be priced at around Rs. 10 lakh.
The company is also working on launching an advanced 100 cc motorcycle model for the masses in India.
Honda said that they need to have a presence in the niche market along with the mass market.
Shinji Aoyama, president and chief executive officer of HMSI said in a statement: βAll the three bikes will be launched by March 2009, taking the number of launches to four this fiscal.β
The company has just launched their 125cc CBF Stunner which has variants priced between Rs 48,000-Rs 53,000.
