Dell releases software update for Nvidia GPU hardware problem
US based PC manufacturer Dell has issued a BIOS update which they say would resolve most of the problems with faulty GPUs which were shipped by Nvidia.
Customers are however not amused as they criticize the company for not replacing the faulty hardware.
The software patch would not of course solve all the problems though Dell hopes that the patch would resolve most of the issues.
Dell said in a statement that the update delivers enhanced thermal control which would moderate the fan speed to mitigate GPU temperature fluctuations.
