Mike Schroepfer latest to join Facebook team
Facebook has announced that they have now hired Mike Schroepfer as a director of engineering.
Mike Schroepfer is associated with Mozilla Firefox web browser where he was one of the leaders of development.
He would now become one of the four directors of engineering at Facebook.
Schroepfer wrote in a blog post on this new development: “This is the first time I’ve decided to leave something I really truly love - I will dearly miss getting a chance to work with all of you every day. Everyone that I’ve met from the community has, and will continue to be, a huge inspiration to me.”
Facebook is one of the most popular online social networks in the world. It also happens to be the top rival to MySpace in this space.
