T. Boone Pickens sells off his stake in Yahoo
Billionaire investor T. Boone Pickens has revealed that he has now sold all his shares in the internet media company Yahoo.
He was apparently dissatisfied by the way Yahoo handled acquisition talks with Microsoft and gave up his hopes.
Pickens said in a statement: “I think that Yahoo management was pathetic”.
He did not reveal the losses he made by selling his shares at the current market price.
Analysts believe that he must have at least lost tens of millions of dollars by selling the shares at the current levels.
Yahoo declined all the offers made by Microsoft including one for a total acquisition and another for their search operations.
