Amazon launches Checkout by Amazon and Amazon Simple Pay
Online retailing giant Amazon has now entered into direct competition with both eBay PayPal and Google Checkout.
The company has launched two new payment services named: Checkout by Amazon and Amazon Simple Pay.
Checkout by Amazon as per the company is their complete checkout solution. It has features like support for Amazon’s “one-click” payment option and tools.
The other service is Amazon Simple Pay which is similar to PayPal and enables their customers to make payments on third party sites.
It is unlikely that these payment options would be usable on rival services like eBay which has already banned Google Checkout.
